Meet Chad Magas – Director, Construction – MasterBUILT Hotels Ltd.

How did your interest in real estate begin? 

I always wanted to be an architect, and I love design. I started my career in residential design but quickly found out that I could make more money in real estate development and therefore set my sights higher.

Tell us about your current role, including any associations you belong to and roles you may have in them 

In my current role, I am the Director of Construction at MasterBUILT Hotels. We develop hotels all across Canada, so it’s been great to utilize all aspects of the courses at REDI, from Finance to all aspects of planning, zoning, and bylaws, working with architects and consultants, and then hiring a general contractor and managing the building process.
