  • A respected group of individuals with backgrounds in academia, real estate development, and municipal administration recognize the demand for formalized courses in real estate development that provide practical exposure to industry experts.
  • The foundations for REDI courses begin to take shape through the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design.
  • REDI Canada launches a collaboration with the University of Calgary to deliver the Calgary Certificate Program Real Estate Development Certificate (CPRED) successfully educating thousands of industry professionals across Alberta.
  • Additional industry members are involved to expand content development and course offerings.
  • REDI Canada is officially established, having already been operational for several years.
  • By 2008, REDI Canada offers courses in eight real estate development subject areas in response to high enrolment and industry demand.
  • REDI Canada launches the first Municipal Learning Program with the City of Calgary’s city planning department.
  • This custom learning program provided specialized hands-on, developer-led education that bridged public and private sector perspectives.
  • REDI Canada expands Municipal Learning Program offerings to the City of Edmonton.
  • REDI Canada collaborates with the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary to offer the Real Estate Development Leadership certificate (REDL).
  • As a result of the global Covid-19 pandemic, REDI Canada adopts innovative approaches to online and hybrid learning to expand its learner network further across Canada.
  • In collaboration with the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, REDI Canada becomes a RECA-recognized provider of pre-licensing education for condominium manager, property manager, and real estate licensees in Alberta.
