Launched in December 2021, REDI’s comprehensive online pre-licensing courses provide industry-leading education and preparedness for RECA’s real estate licensing exams. Condominium Management Associate & Broker Program

The Fundamentals of Condominium Management (FCM) is your first step to prepare for RECA’s Condominium Management Associate Licensing Exam. This course builds a strong foundation of knowledge for the next course Practice of Condominium Management (PCM), where you further apply the foundational knowledge and skills needed to succeed as a condominium manager.

Real Estate Associate & Broker Program

Build a strong foundation of knowledge about the real estate industry in Alberta. The Fundamentals of Real Estate (FRE) is your first step to prepare for RECA’s Real Estate Associate Licensing Exam. This course is designed for individuals starting their journey to obtain a license to practice in: 

  • Commercial real estate
  • Property management
  • Residential real estate
  • Rural real estate

Together, completion of the Fundamentals of Real Estate and one practice-level course meets the pre-licensing education requirements to become a real estate associate in commercial, property management, residential or rural real estate.

The Association of Condominium Managers of Alberta (ACMA) is a not-for-profit professional association advocating for condominium management professionals and the betterment of the industry as a whole. ACMA provides mentorship, education and resources for its members and continuing education opportunities for all real estate industry members and service partners.

NAIOP, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. The Calgary chapter of NAIOP provides unparalleled industry networking and education, and advocates for effective legislation on behalf of our members and our grassroots network. FUNDAMENTALS OF CONDOMINIUM MANAGEMENT

Your first step.

Complete this course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to proceed to the next level.

PRACTICE OF CONDOMINIUM MANAGEMENT

Your second step.

Complete this course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to meet the education requirements for licensing as a condominium manager associate in Alberta.

CONDOMINIUM MANAGER BROKER PROGRAM

Optional third step.

Complete this course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to meet the education requirements for licensing as a condominium manager associate broker OR condominium manager broker in Alberta.

FUNDAMENTALS OF REAL ESTATE

Your first step.

Complete this course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to proceed to the next level.

ONE PRACTICE LEVEL COURSE

Your second step.

Choose one area of practice: commercial, residential, rural, or property management.

Complete the course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to meet the education requirements for licensing as a real estate or property manager associate in Alberta

REAL ESTATE BROKER PROGRAM

Optional third step.

Complete all four practice level courses and achieve 70% on each exam.

Proceed to real estate broker course and achieve 70% on the licensing exam to meet the education requirements for licensing as a real estate associate broker or real estate broker in Alberta.

Learners must complete one course and exam at the fundamental and practice levels to meet education requirements as an associate in Alberta. However, to progress to an associate broker or broker level, learners must complete all practice level courses and exams, in addition to the broker course and exam.
