UCalgary Certificate of Completion
Through REDI Canada + Haskayne School of Business, gain an advanced understanding of the property management industry in Alberta. This is the final course required for individuals seeking their property manager associate license in Alberta.
Complete this course and achieve a minimum of 70% on RECA’s licensing exam to meet pre-licensing education requirements to become a Licensed Property Manager in Alberta.
Offered in collaboration between REDI Canada + Haskayne School of Business, the Practice of Property Management solidifies your understanding of the required competencies and skills required of property manager associates by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). The Practice of Property Management builds upon the learning from the Fundamentals of Real Estate. Together, these courses make up the pre-licensing education requirements to become a licensed property manager associate in Alberta.
As an exam prep course, this course condenses the content included on the Property Management Associate Licensing Exam into a self-directed learning format complete with knowledge checks to test your retention and understanding. Each course unit covers in-depth topics that meet the competencies required for pre-licensing education set by RECA. After completing this course, learners have 3 months to attempt RECA’s Practice of Property Management licensing exam.
Together with the other three practice-level courses (commercial real estate, agro-business (rural), and residential real estate), this course is also a prerequisite for the Real Estate Broker course. The Real Estate Broker course is required for individuals seeking to meet pre-licensing education requirements to become a broker or an associate broker.
