Haskayne School of Business, (University of Calgary’s business school) designs and delivers business leadership development programs for professionals, custom programs for organizations and executive programs for Boards of Directors. Programs focus on delivering practical business concepts and developing strong leadership proficiency to achieve real, sustainable results and a high return on investment.

INDUSTRY COLLABORATORS

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP comprises 20,000+ members in North America and advances responsible commercial real estate development and advocates for effective public policy.

The Calgary Chapter of NAIOP is an association of professionals involved with industrial, office, retail and mixed-use commercial real estate in Calgary and the surrounding communities. We promote the advancement of responsible, sustainable development that benefits our community.
The chapter provides communication, networking, business opportunities, forums for continuing education, and advances effective public policy through its grassroots network.

The Association of Condominium Managers of Alberta (ACMA) is a not-for-profit association that represents the condominium community. ACMA provides resources and education to its members. Members are made of corporations, individuals and associated business that work with the condominium community.

Primary amongst its charges ACMA is responsible for the training of the ACM (Accredited Condominium Manager) and the RCM (Registered Condominium Manager) designations. These designation, and their related training, ensure that a member has the necessary industry understanding to excel in the field.

The association is dedicated to the improvement of industry practice, the advocacy of its members and the enforcement of its Code of Ethics.

CREW Calgary was founded as a non-profit society in 2005, the fourth of a growing number of Canadian chapters of the worldwide organization, CREW Network.

CREW Calgary offers their members a network for professional and personal development that supports their growth in the commercial real estate industry. Their membership is diverse and represents a wide variety of disciplines that includes appraisers, architects, lawyers, developers, environmental consultants, interior designers, lenders, property managers, regional marketers, sales and leasing agents, and insurance providers.

CREW Calgary also partners with educational institutions, non-profits, and industry associations to strengthen the position of women and diverse talent in commercial real estate and to promote growth in our industry.

Established in the 1960s, BOMA Calgary is an industry association that promotes the professional standards of commercial building ownership and property management. BOMA is incorporated as a not-for-profit under the Societies Act of Alberta.

BOMA Calgary is affiliated with BOMA Canada, an organization that represents the industry nationally, and with BOMA International, headquartered in Washington, D.C. This 19,000 member organization represents building industry groups in the United States, and provides a conduit for partnerships with like organizations around the world.

Toronto CREW members are key decision makers of some of the most influential corporations in Canada, representing almost all the disciplines in commercial real estate. Members have immediate connections to high-performance professionals across all disciplines of commercial real estate within Toronto.
