Offered in collaboration between REDI Canada + Haskayne School of Business, the Practice of Residential Real Estate course builds on the basics from Fundamentals of Real Estate to solidify your knowledge of competencies and skills required by the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). Practice of Residential Real Estate is the final course required to refine skills, advance understanding of the industry, and prepare you for the RECA licensing exam to become a residential real estate associate in Alberta.

Learn through flexible, self-paced units that integrate comprehensive written content with real-life case studies based on the RECA-defined learning outcomes and real estate competencies. After completing this course, learners have 3 months to attempt RECA’s Practice of Residential Real Estate licensing exam.

Together with the other three practice-level courses (property management, agro-business (rural), and commercial real estate), this course is also a prerequisite for the Real Estate Broker course. The Real Estate Broker course is required for individuals seeking to meet pre-licensing education requirements to become a residential real estate associate broker or residential real estate broker.
